Trims Buyer – clothing and textile industry

+6 years’ experience in trims purchasing within the clothing and textile industry
Purchasing of trims
Sourcing of trims
Monitor the production schedule and adhere to deadlines of having trims in house
Must be capable of raising Purchase Orders on our ISync Solutions ERP system
Presenting a senior with their calculations on Excel and having the ability to justify the amount on the PO compared to their workings
Tracking of purchase orders placed for trimmings with suppliers
Ensuring trimmings reach the required destination within the time frame given
Constantly following up with suppliers to identify any delays
Updating/Allocating the ISync solutions ERP system once trimmings are received
Reconciliation of what purchase order reads to what supplier invoice reads
Booking of couriers and following through that parcels are received
Must be able to react quick to do top ups in case of shortages on trims
Working with accounts to ensure trim suppliers are paid in a timely manner.
Cross checking what was purchased to what was costed
