JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Site Manager to take full responsibility for on-site execution of mechanical installation and overland piping works on mining projects in the Northern Cape.
This is a hands-on, site-based role, suited to a strong site runner with proven piping and installation experience. The role is operational and leadership-focused, not purely administrative.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications (Either of the following):
· Recognised trade qualification (Fitter, Boilermaker, Welder), OR
· National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or Civil Engineering
Experience:
· 5–10 years’ experience in the mining or heavy industrial environment
· Proven experience as a Site Manager or Construction Supervisor
TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
· Mechanical installation on mining or industrial sites
· Overland piping systems
· HDPE and lined piping installations
· Managing multiple site disciplines simultaneously
· Strong understanding of site safety and construction sequencing
